Christina McCormack

Christina is the 4-H Youth Development Agent in Putnam County. She develops and maintains youth education programs for Putnam County that focus on leadership development, citizenship, environmental education, agricultural education, and disease prevention. “The Germs Stop Here” and “The 4-H2O Project” are among these programs.

In addition to taking educational programming to area schools and community groups, Christina is also responsible for the day-to-day management of 20 4-H community clubs with over 450 4-Hers and 100 active volunteers. The 4-H program also offers residential camping and county fair programs over the summer.

Christina graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Leadership Studies with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration. She has previously worked with youth and their families as a social services worker and college admissions counselor, and as a volunteer for the College Summit program.
